Purpose:
The purpose of Woman of the Word is to study the word of God, take the principles learned, and apply them to practical living for today. God's Word is just as vital and living today as when it was written. Women face many challenges in today's world, and God's Word has the answers for them. We need to know what the Word of God says to us as modern day women, so that we can walk closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, becoming more like Him.
Biography:
Dr. Mae Dunckley has been a Bible teacher and educator for over forty years. A "preacher's kid", Mae also married a pastor, and spent twenty years as a Pastor's wife, raising three children, before the Lord called the Dunckley's into the teaching ministry of Beginning with Genesis.
Mae holds a BS in Bible and Christian Education from Philadelphia Biblical University, an MA in Elementary Education from Rowan University, and a Doctor of Biblical Studies from Bethany Seminary.
After teaching in public school, Christian school, and home-schooling, Mae became a Christian school administrator until joining her husband full time in BWG ministries. Presently, Mae speaks for BWG and WoW ministries, as well as being Dean of Women's Studies and teaching at Trinity Biblical School of Theology in Glassboro, NJ.
Over the years, Mae has enjoyed studying God's Word, and applying God s principles to practical daily living for women. She has spoken at women's conferences, teacher training conferences, women's meetings, dinners, and luncheons and women's retreats.
